My Top 5 Cedar Point Roller Coasters

Well as I said roller coaster season is upon is and that would be reason for all of my posts about roller coasters. Everyone always has their favorite coasters that they like to ride or have ridden and I am no different. I have thought about it and have decided my top 5 Cedar Point roller coasters. So here they are.

Honorable Mention: Magnum XL-200

Magnum broke the record for worlds tallest and fastest coaster when it opened in 1989.

I give Magnum an honorable mention because it's a great coaster and fun to ride. But you can't beat a classic. So because of that reason Magnum got edged out of my top 5 by a classic.

Number 5: Blue Streak

Blue Streak opened in 1964 and was Cedar Point's first real major coaster. Cedar Point had other coasters but none like this one. I believe Blue Streak help launch them into what they are today.

I put this coaster in my top 5 because it is a classic. Blue Streak provides a lot of fun airtime hills and lots of memories. My brother and I have had some memorable rides on Blue Streak over the years.

Top Thrill Dragster was the tallest and fastest coaster in the world when it opened in May of 2003.

Top Thrill Dragster was definitely a must ride for me back in 2003. This particular year I went to Cedar Point a total of 3 times. I went once with a friend, once with the youth group and once with my family. Every time I was there Top Thrill Dragster was closed. So when I went with my family I had already ridden everything there at least twice that year from the earlier trips. So I waited with my dad for most of the day for Top Thrill Dragster. I finally opened in the late afternoon (around 4). We got to ride it two times that day actually. It's 17 seconds of pure excitement and adrenalin.

Okay okay a lot scared of them. But this coaster I was determined to ride and I was going to love. Now I can't stay off of them Thank you Millennium Force!! That is why Millennium Force is number 3 on my list.
