It Does Get Slippery Out There in the Winter

It snowed yesterday/last night.

This will be my 11th winter behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. There are certain things that I know to do in Northern Indiana during the winter. One of them is SLOW DOWN! But apparently there are some people that have never driven in the winter before and the same things happen every year after the first snow fall.

I have heard of countless accidents and pile ups. The main place for this is on the bypass. I always avoid the bypass during the winter. There is always accidents on the bypass in the winter.

I guess I am the only one who doesn't get surprised by the slipperiness of the season. But there are a lot of people the apparently do need the reminder that it does get slippery out there in the winter.
