11 I have learned to be content no matter what happens to me. 12 I know what it's like not to have what I need. I also know what it's like to have more than I need. I have learned the secret of being content no matter what happens.
Paul wrote these words from jail.
I mean he had been on journey after journey. He had been up and he had been down. So when he wrote these words, I really think that he knew what was going on. He was content.
He really had learned what it meant to be content over his life and all that he had been through.
