She Said, She Said

So I guess Brooklynn has decided that a certain word is going to be a part of her vocabulary.

Everything you ask this child she responds with "No". I mean it can be anything:

"Brooklynn do you want to eat?"

"No!"

"Brooklynn do you want to play?"

"No!"

"Brooklynn do you want to get dressed?"

"No!"

"Brooklynn can I have a hug?"

"No!"

"What about a kiss?"

"No!"

She has been saying the word for quite some time. But I guess this is the stage where she is going to say it all the time. I know this stage happens with all toddlers, but this is my first toddler.

But that isn't all she can say. She is learning some new words and how to actually communicate what she wants or needs and she will actually keep repeating the same thing over and over until you get it for her or acknowledge her.

I came home the other day and I had something on my elbow and she came running to and shouted "Belbow belbow belbow!" Then I said knee and she sort of said it back.

Its getting kind of scary because I know here soon we are NOT going to be able to get her to hush!!

But she  is my girl.
