1095 days ago I was nervous as I have ever been.
1095 days ago was the night before the greatest day of my life.
1095 days ago was the last night of my engagement.
1095 days ago was the night before my wedding.
1095 days ago was the night before I married the greatest girl in the world.
I still remember that night. We had the standard bachelor party.. sort of. I can't really call it a "bachelor" party. It was more of just a hang out with friends. But it was a time where they tired to talk me out of my decision and I feel that might be what happens at all bachelor parties.
But I knew what my decision was and they were not going to change my mind. There was going to no cold feet. There was going to be no backing out. I knew that I wanted to be with her and my friends were not going to change my mind.
So the hanging out was over and I was laying on the couch at my friends and my mind was racing. I knew I needed to sleep, but I also knew that I didn't want to oversleep. But I knew that if I didn't get some sleep I would sleep through my wedding and that wouldn't have been a good thing. So about 3 am I finally dosed off.
Come to find out she didn't dose off. She didn't sleep. She was way to excited about the next day.
