Today I said that I planned to be with Sunnshyne for a while during a conversation we were having and apparently those words didn't mean the same for her as they did for me.
She explained to me that "a while" is what she says when she is referring to something that happened just a week ago. I thought "Oh, well then I can see how that might make her upset". So then I explained my thoughts on the words.
I said to her that the words "a while" can mean so many different lengths of time. An hour, a day, later that day, a week, a month, a years, 10 years, or forever.
I was meaning "a while" as in forever. (I mean I do I have a very binding promise involved here.)
