We are pretty much just waiting.
We were all ready for his surgery to take place on Wednesday, but on Tuesday the doctors came in a notified us that the surgery was going to have to be postponed due to a tear in his urethra. The tear came from when they put the catheter in.
They did a scan of his kidneys to check blood flow and over all function of the kidneys and that scan came back fine. His kidneys are functioning right and have gone down in swelling since the catheter was put in.
The antibiotics that he is on they want him to be on those for 10 days and he is on day 7. So those should be done on Monday.
After the surgery the doctors just want to observe him for a few days to make sure he can pee and everything is in working order and he should be able to come home sometime next week.
That is pretty much it nothing really new we are just waiting.
