Yesterday, Sunnshyne and her friend, Laura, took Brooklynn and her son to the zoo. They came across a group of Flamingos there. As, I type this I am reminded of a story about that. Once we were at the zoo and the Flamingos were out but there was one Flamingo right by the edge of the exhibit. He had his head down below the fence and then all of a sudden he raised it up and was right there. This surprised everyone that was around that area looking at the Flamingos or just resting. It was sort of a surprise for me.
Anyway, that was a rabbit trail. But she was able to take a picture of this group of pink fellows and she told me this when I was looking through the pictures. Well, I suppose I should show you the picture.
She said "Did you know that flamingos "quack" like a duck. Those flamingos are fighting and that's the sound they all were making."
I never knew that. I have never in my life heard them make any kind of noise at all. I learned something knew. Sunnshyne learned 2 new things with this: 1) Flamingos "quack" and 2) They are really funny when they fight.
