So I was sitting at the computer this morning looking at some things I need to purchase for school and I get this notification over Facebook...
SunnShyne Ann-Marie tagged you in a post:
and this is what the post read...
- It made me smile from ear to ear and even tear up a little. We have been going through a lot here lately and reading this just made my day. So....I am thankful for the following:1) My loving wife Sunnshyne Pierce. Even though we may not always see eye to eye, we always have that common ground that we can eventually find. We have gotten along so well over the past 4 years (1 year dating and 3 married) and we are still as much in love with each other as we were that first day.2) Emmerson. He is definitely a different baby. He gave us quite a scare back in May/June. He is happy one second and out of his mind the next. (I think some people call that bi-polar) :) But I love him to death. The family would not be complete without that little booger.3) Brooklynn. She is a booger too. But she is my little angel. She is fun to play hide and seek with (even though she hasn't quite got down that she needs to hide where I can't see her and when she is hidden she needs to be quiet) but still it is a fun game to play. She loves being chased. She loves swinging and slides. She is the best little girl in the world.4) God. I learned something yesterday. Well, I learned it yesterday again. I keep forgetting that God has my life all under control. He has my family under his protection and control. He won't let anything happen to us. I learned that yesterday (again). You would think that I could remember that considering that one of my favorite verses in the Bible and one that I have had memorized for many years:
Jeremiah 29:11 "I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." (MSG) (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Jeremiah%2029:11&version=MSG)God is good and He will always be good. I am so thankful for a caring and loving God!
